About Maharshi Gautam Godavari Vedvidya Pratishthan

Maharshi Gautam Godavari Vedvidya Pratishthan was founded in 2003 by Param Pujya Sri Ravindra Paithane as a continuation of his family tradition. He studied Yajur Veda under Vaidik Samrat Shri Krishna Shastri Godshe Guruji at Kashi and continued the tradition of imparting Vedic knowledge to aspiring shishyas for the last 20 plus years at Nashik.

How Vedic Knowledge given to shishyas?

Vedic schools, also known as Gurukuls, have a unique and ancient approach to imparting knowledge. While the practices may vary, here are some general aspects of how Vedic schools traditionally educate their students:

Guru-Shishya Parampara (Teacher-Student Tradition

Oral Tradition
